About Me

Web developer with 15+ years of experience

I’m a web developer from Serbia, currently based in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Most of my life i was in IT, in one shape or another. I spent most my career building websites, web applications, and digital platforms, from custom CMS development and large-scale content websites to business applications and modern headless architectures.

From Freelancing to Large-Scale Platforms

I started as a freelancer, building custom websites, themes, and extensions, with a strong focus on Joomla development. Those early years gave me a solid understanding of how content management systems work under the hood.

Later, I joined a Netherlands-based company, where my work shifted toward larger and more complex projects. Using PHP and ProcessWire, I developed portals, directories, and classified platforms that required custom data structures, integrations, and scalable architectures.

Business Applications & Custom Development

After returning to freelancing, I expanded into WordPress and WooCommerce while focusing on business logic and process automation. Alongside websites and e-commerce projects, I built custom CRM and ERP-style applications based on requirements and specific needs.

This stage of my career reinforced an important lesson: software should solve business problems, not just look good.

Today

Today, I continue to work as a contractor, partnering with companies that need an experienced developer who can bridge development, infrastructure, and business requirements. My primary engagement is with a fintech company, where I lead websites team and contribute to architecture, deployment and technical strategy.

My work includes:

I’ve seen the web evolve from basic CMS themes to modern, decoupled architectures. Whether I’m writing raw PHP/JavaScript or managing a deployment pipeline, my goal remains the same: building fast, reliable, and functional software.
